Frankly speaking, I've been waiting for a satisfying succeeder to my personal #1 post-millennium country-pop album "Enjoy the Ride" with my fingers crossed. Arguably, it's the only pop record capable of stilling hunger for wide open spaces. Maybe, like Demi Lovato, Jennifer Nettles enjoyed herself doing it solo, but I didn't. I prefer her doing it duo. So my expectations for this sudden comeback were extremely high. The eponymous opening track is a promising start, but after it the album only becomes smaller and smaller. The songs try too hard to be catchy, but fail. Male vocals and annoying guest appearances make their musical value teeny-tiny. To the bin and beyond.
