Opinion
This is officially Chely's first album on which she doesn't give a damn for casual listeners. Thanks, Kickstarter. I must confess that I almost fell asleep to the strains of Squidward's musical instrument. They should really have given SpongeBob the opportunity to play the clarinet. The patient listeners will be rewarded – Chely put a pot of sweet jam on the farthermost shelf of her closet. The song of the prairies "Halona" is not just the best song of her indie country era, it's the best song I've heard in months. I'm surprised at the fact that this calmly disturbing record could crack the charts. Is it the same people who buy Madonna's CDs just for the sake of buying?
