Opinion
Writing an uptempo gospel was equally logical and brilliant idea, since "Something in the Water" is a perfect range to shoot her super weapon – the incredibly powerful voice. Moreover, the story about attaining enlightenment after coming into contact with some water sounds believable from her lips. Rare artists work so hard trying to please the fans on their anthology. And Carrie managed to achieve miracles, because "Something in the Water" is the best song of the first decade. Almost every single from the previous albums is here, making this two-disc set a double pleasure. Sometimes in the comments Carrie is referred to as a dull person. These three demos in the end are a slap in the face for all the haters. I'll tell you a little secret – Carrie's music has always been a reliable chick magnet. If you buy this greatest hits compilation, you'll get the whole harem magnet.
