Opinion
Compared to their debut this is a much more uninhibited record. The texts mature as the band members grow up. If the siblings get rid of the testicle-cutting threats, they should be able to deliver the best CMA-friendly album. I remember noticing the song "I Saw a Light" on the back cover of the physical release before actually listening to the album – I broke into a cold sweat, my hands started shaking. I thought, "Tartar sauce! Is it an impudent attempt on the immortal classic?" The image of Johnny Cash performing it in the Columbo-episode recurred in my head. Luckily for me it was another song with the indefinite article in the middle.
